Community Outreach Coordinator

The American National Red Cross seeks a Community Outreach Coordinator to build relationships, expand awareness, and support humanitarian programs. In this role, you'll plan and promote outreach events, partner with local organizations, and recruit and support volunteers. You will coordinate blood drives, preparedness trainings, and community presentations, track participation metrics, and share impact stories. Working closely with staff and volunteers, you'll advance our mission of compassion, disaster relief, and community resilience while contributing to a diverse, collaborative, and mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute community outreach events and campaigns to promote Red Cross programs.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups.
• Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers for blood drives, trainings, and outreach activities.
• Coordinate and promote blood drives, preparedness trainings, and community presentations.
• Develop outreach materials and use digital channels to increase community engagement.
• Track and report outreach metrics, participation data, and community impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams and volunteers to align outreach with organizational goals.
• Represent the Red Cross at community meetings, fairs, and public events.
