PROGRAM MANAGER

The SAF Program Lead at the American National Red Cross leads Service to the Armed Forces programs supporting military members, veterans, and their families. This role manages program planning, delivery, and evaluation; builds partnerships with bases, VA facilities, and community agencies; and recruits and supports volunteers. The Program Lead oversees data, reporting, and budgets while ensuring inclusive, mission driven services that align with Red Cross humanitarian values in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) program to support military members, veterans, and their families.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate SAF services, ensuring alignment with Red Cross humanitarian mission and standards.
• Build and manage partnerships with military installations, VA facilities, and community organizations.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers to deliver high quality SAF programs and outreach.
• Collect, analyze, and report program data and outcomes to support continuous improvement and funding needs.
• Coordinate outreach, education, and referral services for clients in crisis or transition.
• Develop program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with grants and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with disaster and blood services teams for integrated community and military support.
• Prepare presentations, briefings, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure equity, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity in all program activities.
