Education to Employment

Essentia Health is seeking an Education to Employment specialist to guide individuals into meaningful healthcare careers. In this role, you will support participants as they transition from school, training, or reskilling programs into roles across Essentia's integrated health system. You will provide career coaching, coordinate job readiness activities, and connect candidates with internal opportunities and community resources. Working in a compassionate, collaborative culture, you'll help remove barriers to employment while promoting holistic, patient-centered care and supporting workforce development in our communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to help participants explore healthcare careers and set employment goals.
• Develop individualized education-to-employment plans and track progress.
• Coordinate with Essentia Health clinical, HR, and community partners to connect participants to job and training opportunities.
• Deliver job readiness support including resume review, interview preparation, and application assistance.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and outcomes data in organizational systems.
• Facilitate workshops or small groups on career pathways and workplace expectations.
• Refer participants to internal and external resources for education, training, and social support needs.
• Monitor participant engagement and follow up to reduce barriers to employment.
