Community Engagement Manager

The American National Red Cross seeks a Community Engagement Manager to strengthen local relationships and expand mission impact. In this role, you will develop and lead outreach strategies, recruit and support volunteers, and partner with community organizations, schools, and local leaders to increase participation in blood drives, disaster preparedness, and health and safety programs. You will coordinate events, deliver presentations, track engagement metrics, and collaborate across Red Cross teams to ensure inclusive, mission-driven programming that reflects community needs and advances our humanitarian goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement community outreach and engagement strategies to advance Red Cross programs and services.
• Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers for blood drives, disaster preparedness, and community education initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, faith-based groups, and local leaders.
• Plan and coordinate community events, presentations, and campaigns that promote Red Cross services and volunteer opportunities.
• Track, analyze, and report engagement metrics to evaluate program impact and inform outreach strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including disaster services, biomedical services, and communications, to align community engagement efforts.
• Represent the Red Cross at community meetings, fairs, and public events to increase visibility and partnerships.
