Community Outreach Manager

The American National Red Cross seeks a Community Outreach Manager to build partnerships, expand local visibility, and strengthen volunteer engagement. In this role, you will plan and lead outreach campaigns, blood drive promotions, and community education events that support disaster preparedness and humanitarian services. You will cultivate relationships with community groups, schools, and local leaders, coordinate volunteers, track impact metrics, and represent the Red Cross at public events. This position is ideal for a mission-driven communicator who excels at organizing people and resources to improve community resilience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community outreach strategies that support Red Cross programs and goals
• Plan and coordinate community events, blood drive promotions, and preparedness education sessions
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, faith groups, and local leaders
• Recruit, coordinate, and recognize volunteers for outreach and event activities
• Represent the Red Cross at community meetings, fairs, and speaking engagements
• Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with disaster response and blood services needs
• Track, analyze, and report outreach metrics and impact using CRM or tracking tools
• Create outreach materials and messages in partnership with communications staff
• Support grant and report writing with outreach data and impact stories
• Ensure outreach activities reflect the Red Cross mission, values, and commitment to diversity and inclusion
