CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers on local routes
• Transport containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and customer sites
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal staff
• Secure and handle freight according to customer requirements
• Report equipment issues and coordinate maintenance
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery sites
• Support a safety-first, performance-driven culture
