CDL A Truck Driver
STG Logistics (Formally XPO) is seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver starting at $31.29/hr. In this role, you'll haul containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers, supporting our nationwide logistics network. You'll run primarily local routes, be home daily, and play a key role in safe, on-time pickup and delivery. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, daily inspections, accurate logs, and strict compliance with DOT and company safety standards. You'll work closely with dispatch in a performance-driven, safety-first culture that values teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer on local routes hauling containers and freight
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs
- Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations and procedures
- Ensure on-time pickup and delivery between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers
- Secure and handle freight according to company and customer requirements
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and terminal staff regarding delays or issues
- Use ELDs and on-board systems for routing, logs, and load information
- Represent STG Logistics professionally with customers and at facilities
- Report equipment defects, incidents, and safety concerns promptly
- Support a performance-driven, safety-first culture and continuous improvement
