CDL-A Truck Driver

Blair Logistics Inc is seeking a CDL-A Truck Driver for flatbed and step-deck freight on a 1099 basis. Based out of Alabama with regional and long-haul lanes, you'll haul industrial freight with a strong focus on safety, securement, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include safely operating late-model equipment, inspecting and securing loads, complying with DOT regulations, maintaining accurate ELD logs, and communicating with dispatch. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A truck hauling flatbed and step-deck freight on regional and long-haul routes
• Secure and tarp loads according to safety and customer requirements
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
• Use ELD systems to record hours of service and maintain accurate logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support staff
• Plan routes to ensure on-time pickup and delivery while maximizing efficiency
• Protect freight through proper handling, inspection, and securement
• Report equipment issues promptly for maintenance and repair
• Represent Blair Logistics professionally with customers and on the road
