Gas Journeyman

CoolSys is seeking a skilled Journeyman Refrigeration Technician to support our HVAC Wholesale customers with installation, start-up, service, and maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. In this hands-on field role, you'll diagnose and repair rack systems, walk-ins, and related HVAC-R equipment while prioritizing safety, uptime, and energy efficiency. You'll work closely with customers and teammates in a collaborative, safety-first culture that values integrity, technical excellence, and continuous learning. Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and service commercial refrigeration systems for HVAC wholesale and retail customers
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls issues; perform timely, high-quality repairs
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and system performance checks
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and OEM documentation to plan work
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software
• Follow all Cool
• Sys safety procedures, codes, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure uptime and reliability
• Provide on-site customer support and communicate status and repair options
