CDL-A Truck Driver

Blair Logistics Inc is hiring CDL-A Truck Drivers on 1099 status for flatbed and step-deck freight. Based out of Alabama, you'll haul regional and long-haul loads, focusing on safe, on-time delivery for industrial customers. Responsibilities include securement, pre/post-trip inspections, and DOT compliance while maintaining professional communication with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer on regional and long-haul flatbed and step-deck routes
• Secure and tarp loads according to safety and customer requirements
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation using E-logs or required systems
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations staff
• Manage time and routes to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
• Protect company and customer freight through safe driving and securement practices
• Follow company safety programs and participate in ongoing training
• Represent Blair Logistics professionally with customers and on the road
