CDL A Truck Driver
STG Logistics, a leading national containerized logistics provider, is hiring local CDL A Truck Drivers starting at $31.29/hr. In this local role, you'll haul containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and customer facilities, returning home daily. Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, pre- and post-trip inspections, accurate logging and paperwork, and strict adherence to DOT and company safety standards. You'll work closely with dispatch and terminal teams in a performance-driven, safety-first culture that values teamwork, reliability, and strong customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL A tractor hauling local containerized freight
- Complete local pick-ups and deliveries between ports, rail ramps, and customer sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
- Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
- Secure loads and ensure proper equipment handling
- Report delays, incidents, or equipment issues promptly
- Support a performance-driven, safety-first culture
- Represent STG Logistics with strong customer service on every route
