ARS/Rescue Rooter seeks a Senior HVAC Technician to lead residential and light commercial service in our Construction-related operations. In this role, you'll perform expert diagnostics, repair, replacement, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of HVAC systems while modeling our safety-first, customer-focused culture. You'll handle complex calls, mentor junior technicians, and ensure work meets code and ARS standards. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners.
  • Perform system start-ups, replacements, and preventive maintenance to manufacturer and company standards.
  • Lead complex service calls and provide technical direction to junior technicians on-site.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and ARS/Rescue Rooter quality standards.
  • Communicate findings, options, and recommendations clearly to customers and obtain approvals.
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations in service tickets.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 emergency service as needed.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and service management to meet schedule, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Support ongoing training and share best practices to strengthen team skills and performance.
