CDL A Local Driver

STG Logistics (Formally XPO) seeks a CDL A Local Driver to support containerized logistics operations in the Los Angeles area. In this field based role, you will haul containers between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers, ensuring safe, on time pick ups and deliveries. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, accurate log keeping, and strict adherence to DOT and company safety standards. You'll work closely with dispatch and terminal teams, provide professional customer service, and be home daily while contributing to a fast growing, performance driven logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor trailer on local routes hauling containerized freight
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and maintain required logs
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Pick up and deliver containers between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers
• Communicate with dispatch and terminal staff to ensure on time service
• Secure loads and verify documentation, bills of lading, and shipment details
• Report equipment issues, incidents, and delays promptly
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at all delivery locations
