Percussion Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a Percussion Teacher to provide high-quality private and group percussion lessons in our retail lesson studio. In this role, you will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, develop individualized lesson plans, and prepare students for concerts, auditions, and school performances. You'll collaborate with store staff to support enrollment growth, maintain accurate scheduling and progress records, and promote a positive, student-focused learning environment that reflects our mission of supporting music education and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group percussion lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and curriculum aligned with student goals and school needs
• Prepare students for recitals, concerts, auditions, and school performances
• Track student progress, attendance, and scheduling accurately
• Communicate regularly with students and parents about goals and progress
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and retention
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging lesson studio environment
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and materials to support learning
• Incorporate proper technique, music theory, and reading skills into instruction
• Uphold Music & Arts standards and represent the brand professionally
