Voice Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Voice Teacher to provide high-quality private and small-group vocal lessons in our retail store. In this role, you will assess student skill levels, design personalized lesson plans, teach vocal technique, music reading, and performance skills, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances. You'll collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and student retention while maintaining accurate schedules and progress records. Ideal candidates have strong vocal training, teaching experience, and a commitment to student-focused music education.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and small-group voice lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Assess student abilities and create individualized lesson plans and goals
• Teach vocal technique, ear training, music literacy, and performance skills
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school or community performances
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and lesson schedules
• Communicate progress and practice expectations with students and parents
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and retention
• Uphold a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment in the studio
