Piano Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a Piano Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group piano instruction in our retail lesson studio. The teacher will develop customized lesson plans, teach music reading, technique, and performance skills, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school events. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, communicating with parents, maintaining accurate schedules and records, and supporting store events that promote music education. The ideal candidate is a patient, engaging pianist with strong pedagogy skills and a passion for student success in a collaborative, education focused retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans focusing on technique, theory, and performance
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Maintain accurate lesson schedules, attendance, and student records
• Communicate regularly with parents and students about progress and goals
• Collaborate with store staff to support education and community events
• Promote Music & Arts programs and a positive, student focused environment
