Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll instruct students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and school performances, and track progress. Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, accessories, and repair services that enhance student success. Ideal candidates have strong performance and pedagogy skills, prior teaching experience, and comfort working in a busy retail environment while upholding a student focused, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and curriculum aligned with student goals
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school music activities
• Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with store staff to support instrument rentals, sales, and accessories needs
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment in the lesson studio
• Promote additional lessons, programs, and services offered by Music & Arts
• Participate in occasional recitals, events, or workshops hosted by the store
