Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach primarily band and orchestra instruments to students of all ages and levels, creating engaging lesson plans that build solid technique, musicality, and confidence. You'll track student progress, communicate regularly with parents, and collaborate with store staff to support recitals and events. Ideal candidates have strong performance or teaching background, excellent communication skills, and a student-first mindset in a friendly, inclusive, retail-education environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and follow structured lesson plans aligned with student goals
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school events
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment in the store studio

• Recommend instruments, accessories, and materials that support student learning
