Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a full-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and exceptional service in our retail music store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, repairs, accessories, and private lessons. You'll support lesson enrollment, school partnerships, and community events while maintaining merchandising standards and accurate POS transactions. As a senior team member, you help mentor others and model our collaborative, student-focused culture, contributing to both sales growth and music education in your community.

Responsibilities

• Drive retail sales of instruments, accessories, and lessons to meet and exceed store targets
• Provide expert product guidance to students, parents, and educators to match needs with solutions
• Support rental, repair, and lesson program enrollment, ensuring accurate transactions
• Deliver exceptional in-store customer service and follow-up to build long-term relationships
• Maintain merchandising, inventory organization, and a clean, student-friendly store environment
• Collaborate with store and school service teams to support local music education initiatives
• Process payments, rentals, and service orders accurately using POS and internal systems
• Assist with events, promotions, and outreach to grow lessons and school partnerships
• Support onboarding and mentoring of junior associates as a senior team member
• Uphold company policies, performance standards, and a collaborative, inclusive culture
