Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and service in our retail store. In this role, you'll help students, parents, and educators find the right band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. Responsibilities include greeting customers, recommending products, processing sales and rentals, maintaining store displays, and supporting lesson sign-ups. You'll collaborate with a student-focused, service-driven team, promote community music education, and help meet store goals while growing your knowledge of instruments and retail sales in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students, parents, and educators in the retail store
• Recommend instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons based on customer needs
• Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson registrations accurately
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-merchandised store displays
• Support achievement of individual and store sales goals
• Explain rental programs, service plans, and lesson offerings clearly
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a student-focused experience
• Provide basic product knowledge and instrument guidance to new musicians
• Handle customer questions and resolve simple service issues
• Promote community music education events and store programs
