Brass Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a Brass Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll teach brass fundamentals, technique, and musicianship to students of varying ages and skill levels, create individualized lesson plans, and prepare students for performances, auditions, and school ensembles. You'll also collaborate with store staff to support rentals, repairs, and accessory sales, maintain accurate scheduling and lesson records, and contribute to a positive, student focused environment that reflects our mission of supporting music education in the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver private and group brass lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and learning goals for each student
• Teach brass technique, music theory, and musicianship fundamentals
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school ensemble performances
• Communicate progress and recommendations to students and parents
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, repairs, and accessory sales
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and lesson documentation
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
• Participate in store events and outreach to support music education
• Uphold Music & Arts' service standards and student-focused culture
