Panther Premium Logistics, a service of ArcBest, is seeking experienced Owner Operator Truck Drivers to support our premium, time-critical freight network across North America. In this contractor role, you'll haul high-value and temperature-sensitive shipments, leveraging advanced technology and 24/7 dispatch support in a fast-paced, customer-first environment. Responsibilities include safe, compliant operation of your tractor-trailer, strict on-time pickup and delivery, accurate ELD logging, freight securement, and professional customer service at all stops. You'll collaborate closely with our logistics team to solve complex routing challenges with urgency, reliability, and teamwork, maximizing both service quality and your earning potential as an owner operator.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailer to transport time-critical, high-value, and temperature-sensitive freight across North America
  • Maintain on-time pickup and delivery performance to meet expedited service standards
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
  • Properly secure, handle, and protect freight, including temperature-controlled cargo when applicable
  • Use onboard technology and communication tools to receive dispatches and provide status updates 24/7
  • Manage electronic logs, trip reports, and required documentation accurately and promptly
  • Coordinate with dispatch, customer service, and operations to resolve issues and optimize routes
  • Maintain a clean, well-serviced vehicle and schedule regular maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Provide professional, customer-first service at shipper and consignee locations
  • Manage fuel, routing, and time to maximize profitability as an owner operator
