Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high-quality private and group lessons in our Store 072 retail location. You'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and auditions, and track progress. Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, instrument care, and accessory needs. You'll promote a positive, inclusive learning environment that reflects our student-focused culture, engage with parents and schools, and help grow the lesson program through strong teaching, communication, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and follow structured, engaging lesson plans aligned with student goals
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and auditions
• Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with store staff on instrument rentals, repairs, and accessory recommendations
• Maintain an inclusive, positive, and safe learning environment in the studio
• Communicate with parents and guardians about scheduling, progress, and goals
• Support growth of the lesson program through strong teaching and customer service
• Ensure proper care, handling, and basic maintenance guidance for instruments
• Participate in store events, recitals, and community outreach as needed
