Veritas Steel LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our Manufacturing & Production team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment to produce heavy, complex steel bridge components to exact specifications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing quality checks, making machine adjustments, and following strict safety procedures. You'll collaborate closely with production and quality teams in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to process heavy steel bridge components according to specifications
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances
- Load, secure, and align large steel parts using appropriate rigging, clamps, and fixtures
- Input, verify, and adjust CNC programs and machine offsets to achieve accurate part dimensions
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments to maintain quality and tolerances
- Conduct routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication, and report issues requiring repair
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe operation of cranes, forklifts, and other equipment
- Collaborate with welders, fitters, and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet production schedules
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing best practices on the shop floor

Required Skills
- CNC machine operation and setup
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings
