Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a part-time Senior Sales Associate to support students, parents, and educators in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide customers in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons, delivering outstanding, student-focused service. You will handle sales transactions, meet individual and store goals, maintain merchandising standards, and support in-store events and educational outreach. You'll collaborate with a passionate team, use POS and rental systems, and help create an inclusive, music-centered environment that supports learning and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Deliver excellent, student-focused customer service to students, parents, and educators
• Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments using POS systems
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and rental goals
• Maintain visual merchandising, stocking, and store presentation standards
• Support in-store events, teacher nights, and community outreach activities
• Educate customers on financing, protection plans, and repair services
• Collaborate with team members and managers to drive store performance
• Handle basic administrative tasks such as opening/closing and cash handling
• Promote Music & Arts programs that support music education and local schools
