Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and small-group lessons in our retail studio environment. In this role, you will teach students of all ages and skill levels, create individualized lesson plans, and support their musical growth on band and orchestra instruments or other primary instruments. You will partner with parents, educators, and store staff to encourage student progress, promote recitals and events, and support our mission of making music education accessible. This position combines hands-on teaching with a collaborative, student-focused culture in a mission-driven retail and education setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging private and small-group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Develop lesson plans and learning goals tailored to individual student needs.
• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Support store initiatives by encouraging lesson enrollment and student retention.
• Collaborate with store staff and educators to coordinate recitals and events.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment in lesson studios.
• Advise students and families on instruments, accessories, and learning materials.
• Accurately track attendance, schedules, and student records.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development offered by Music & Arts.
