Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail lesson studio. You will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, develop individualized lesson plans, prepare students for performances and school programs, and collaborate with store staff to support rentals, accessories, and repairs. You'll maintain accurate schedules and progress records, communicate regularly with parents and school directors, and help foster a welcoming, student centered environment that promotes musical growth, community engagement, and ongoing enrollment in lessons.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of various ages and levels
• Develop and follow individualized lesson plans and curriculum aligned with student goals
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school music programs
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to support musical growth
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school directors
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and student progress records
• Collaborate with store staff to support instrument rentals, sales, and repairs
• Promote continued enrollment and new student sign ups through great teaching and service
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive lesson studio environment
• Participate in store events, outreach, and community music initiatives as needed
