Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll instruct students of varying ages and skill levels, develop customized lesson plans, and prepare students for performances and school programs. Collaborate with store staff to support rental and accessory needs, promote lessons, and maintain accurate schedules and student progress records. The ideal candidate is a skilled musician and engaging educator who thrives in a student-focused, community-oriented, retail lesson environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and curricula aligned with student goals and school programs
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance records, and lesson documentation
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, repairs, and accessory sales tied to lesson needs
• Promote lesson programs to prospective students and families within the store and community
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment in lesson studios
