Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high-quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create individualized lesson plans, and prepare students for performances, auditions, and school programs. Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment, recommend instruments and accessories, and promote events. The ideal candidate has strong musicianship, prior teaching or tutoring experience, and excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, student-focused, retail and education environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging private and group music lessons to students of various ages and levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and track student progress toward goals
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, school performances, and exams
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and scheduling
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and materials to students and parents
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and students about progress and practice expectations
• Participate in store events, recitals, and community outreach activities
