Woodwind Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Woodwind Teacher to provide high-quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll teach students of all ages and abilities on instruments such as flute, clarinet, and saxophone, focusing on fundamentals, technique, and musical expression. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, tracking progress, preparing students for performances and auditions, and collaborating with store staff to support student recruitment and retention. Responsibilities

• Provide private and group woodwind lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans focused on technique, theory, and musical expression
• Assess student progress and communicate goals with students and parents
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Maintain accurate lesson records, scheduling, and attendance
• Collaborate with store staff to support student recruitment and retention
• Recommend instruments, accessories, and materials to support student learning
• Create an inclusive, encouraging, and safe learning environment
