Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll develop lesson plans, teach a variety of instruments to beginner and intermediate students, assess progress, and prepare students for performances. Partner with parents, schools, and store staff to support enrollments and retention. Maintain accurate schedules and records while fostering an inclusive, motivating learning environment aligned with our student focused, community oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to beginner and intermediate students
• Create individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and performances
• Communicate with parents and guardians about student development
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and scheduling
• Maintain accurate attendance, progress notes, and scheduling records
• Support a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment in the store
