Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail store. You will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, develop personalized lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and school performances, and support instrument selection and care. Partner with store staff to grow lesson enrollment, maintain accurate scheduling and records, and provide an outstanding customer and student experience aligned with our mission of supporting music education and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans and curriculum
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school music activities
• Assess student progress and communicate updates to parents and guardians
• Support students and families with instrument selection, care, and accessories
• Maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and student records
• Collaborate with store staff to grow and retain lesson enrollments
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment in the studio
• Participate in in store events and community outreach supporting music education
• Uphold Music & Arts' standards for customer service and instructional quality
