Piano Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Piano Teacher to provide high-quality private lessons in our retail lesson studio. You will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, develop personalized lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and auditions, and track progress. Collaborate with store staff to support lesson scheduling and student retention. Ideal candidates have strong piano performance and pedagogy skills, prior teaching or tutoring experience, and the ability to create a positive, motivating learning environment aligned with our student-focused, community-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Create and adapt individualized lesson plans and curricula
• Teach music reading, technique, theory, and repertoire appropriate to each student
• Prepare students for recitals, exams, auditions, and performances
• Track student progress and communicate with parents or guardians as needed
• Maintain a structured, encouraging, and safe learning environment
• Collaborate with store staff on scheduling, enrollment, and student retention
• Support Music & Arts events and recitals as needed
