Brass Teacher

Music and Arts is seeking a Brass Teacher to provide high quality private and group brass lessons in our retail store. In this role, you will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, develop customized lesson plans, prepare students for concerts and auditions, and support sales of instruments, accessories, and rentals. You'll collaborate with store staff and school service reps, maintain accurate schedules and student progress records, and help create a welcoming, student focused learning environment that reflects our mission of supporting music education in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group brass lessons to students of all ages and levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, concerts, and auditions
• Evaluate student progress and communicate with parents and guardians
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and lesson records
• Support in store sales of brass instruments, rentals, and accessories
• Collaborate with store staff and school service representatives
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Promote additional lessons, programs, and events to students
• Uphold Music and Arts' standards for customer service and music education
