Calgon Carbon Corporation Careers is seeking a Quality Technician II to support our Quality Assurance & Testing team in the Chemicals industry. In this safety-focused, mission-driven role, you will perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests on activated carbon and filtration products, analyze data, maintain accurate records, and assist with investigations of nonconforming materials. You will calibrate and troubleshoot lab equipment, follow ISO/cGMP procedures, and collaborate with production and engineering to drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory and customer specifications are met.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests on activated carbon and related chemical products
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to verify conformance to specifications
  • Document results accurately in LIMS and quality records
  • Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and test equipment
  • Support investigations of nonconforming materials and customer complaints
  • Assist in maintaining ISO/c
  • GMP-compliant quality systems, SOPs, and test methods
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and EHS on quality and process improvements
  • Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits, validations, and continuous improvement projects
