Class B CDL Driver

Contract Lumber is seeking a reliable Class B CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials to residential and commercial jobsites across North Carolina. In this role, you'll operate company trucks, load and unload lumber and framing packages, secure loads, and complete required delivery documentation. You'll work closely with dispatch, yard, and field teams to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries while following all DOT, safety, and company policies. This hands-on position is ideal for drivers who value steady work, teamwork, customer service, and representing a trusted supplier in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B CDL trucks to deliver building materials to jobsites
• Load, secure, transport, and unload lumber and framing packages
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete logs
• Follow DOT, safety, and company policies at all times
• Coordinate with dispatch, yard, and field teams for accurate, on-time deliveries
• Provide professional, courteous service to builders and contractors on site
• Maintain clean, well-organized vehicles and equipment
• Report maintenance needs, incidents, or delivery issues promptly
• Assist in yard or warehouse operations as needed
