Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines on 2nd shift to produce precision components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to meet specifications
  • Perform in-process quality inspections using measurement tools to ensure tolerances
  • Adjust machine settings, tooling, and basic G-code parameters to optimize performance
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
  • Record production data, inspection results, and downtime in shop systems
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve production issues and improve processes
