Registered Nurse Freestanding Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in emergency situations.
• Assess patients quickly and prioritize treatment based on clinical urgency.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Maintain detailed patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on management of their health and wellness, including follow-up care.
• Implement infection control practices and other safety protocols.
• Report directly to departmental managers and advise on areas for service improvement.
