Core-Mark is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you will safely operate company trucks to deliver products to retail customers on scheduled routes, ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, following DOT regulations, and maintaining delivery documentation. You'll work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams while providing professional, customer-first service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks to deliver products to retail customers on assigned routes
- Load, unload, and verify accuracy of orders using handheld scanners and delivery paperwork
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Comply with DOT regulations, Core-Mark safety policies, and all traffic laws
- Provide professional, customer-first service at each stop, resolving basic delivery issues
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, hours-of-service records, and required documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to address route changes or delays
- Secure freight properly and follow temperature and product-handling standards
- Assist with returns, refusals, and product rotation as required
- Support Core-Mark's culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Required Skills
- Commercial truck driving (local or regional)
- Safe operation of tractor-trailer or straight truck
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Use of electronic logging devices (ELDs) and handheld scanners
- Load securement and basic freight handling
