American Fence Company, Inc., a leader in fence design, installation, and maintenance for residential and commercial clients, is seeking a full-time Fence Installer. In this role, you will assist with measuring, setting posts, installing panels and gates, and repairing various fence types while following safety standards. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training and tools. Responsibilities

  • Install and repair residential and commercial fences (wood, vinyl, chain link, ornamental, and security).
  • Measure and mark fence lines and layouts according to project specifications.
  • Set fence posts, mix and pour concrete, and ensure proper alignment and spacing.
  • Install fence panels, rails, pickets, fabric, and gates including associated hardware.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely for cutting, drilling, and fastening materials.
  • Load, unload, and organize fencing materials, tools, and equipment on trucks and job sites.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing fence installations.
  • Follow instructions from crew leaders and supervisors and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, digging, and bending.

Required Skills

  • Basic construction or manual labor skills
  • Use of hand and power tools (saws, drills, drivers)
  • Measuring and marking using tape measures and levels
  • Concrete mixing and post setting
  • Basic site layout and alignment
  • Material handling and loading/unloading
