Yellowstone Landscape is hiring a Mechanic to keep our construction and landscape equipment running safely and reliably. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect, diagnose, and repair mowers, loaders, trenchers, trucks, and small engines, performing both preventative and corrective maintenance. You'll collaborate with field crews to minimize downtime, maintain accurate service records, and uphold strict safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on construction and landscape equipment, including mowers, skid steers, trenchers, and trucks
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; complete timely and accurate repairs to minimize downtime
  • Conduct safety inspections and keep equipment in compliance with company and OSHA standards
  • Maintain clean, organized shop and accurate maintenance, parts, and service records
  • Collaborate with field crews and supervisors to prioritize repairs and schedule service around project needs
  • Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and adjustments for specific landscape and construction applications
  • Order and track parts and supplies, coordinating with vendors as needed
  • Operate equipment for testing and verification after repairs
  • Follow all company safety procedures, use proper PPE, and participate in safety meetings
  • Support training of operators on basic equipment care, pre-trip inspections, and safe use
