Xpedient Logistics is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to support our Warehouse & Manufacturing operations in a fast-paced Transportation & Logistics environment. In this on-site role, you will safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move pallets, support inventory control, and ensure accurate, on-time shipments for diverse customers. You'll use RF scanners and follow strict OSHA and company safety standards while working closely with a team focused on reliability, problem-solving, and meeting tight client deadlines. This position offers hands-on experience with modern warehousing, fulfillment, and last-mile distribution, plus opportunities to grow within logistics operations and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move pallets and freight
  • Receive, stage, and organize inbound and outbound shipments per warehouse procedures
  • Verify counts, labels, and documentation to ensure order accuracy and inventory integrity
  • Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues immediately
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety rules, including PPE, speed limits, and traffic patterns
  • Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to record moves, locations, and completed tasks
  • Support picking, packing, and staging for fulfillment and last mile delivery operations
  • Work closely with warehouse leads, drivers, and team members to meet tight client deadlines
  • Maintain clean, organized, and obstruction free aisles, docks, and storage areas
  • Assist with cycle counts, stock rotation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills

  • Forklift operation (sit-down and/or stand-up)
  • Pallet jack and material handling equipment use
  • Warehouse safety and OSHA awareness
  • RF scanner and basic WMS experience
  • Loading/unloading trailers and containers
  • Palletizing, wrapping, and securing freight
  • Basic inventory control and cycle counting
  • Reading BOLs, labels, and shipping documents
  • Basic computer or handheld device proficiency
  • Communication and teamwork in fast-paced environment
