TransForce Inc. is hiring experienced Class A Drivers to support safe, dependable freight transportation for leading carriers and private fleets. In this role, you will operate Class A commercial vehicles to move freight on local and regional routes, perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate electronic driver logs in full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Drivers are expected to prioritize safety, meet on-time delivery schedules, communicate professionally with dispatch and customers, and represent TransForce's integrity- and service-focused culture on every load.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight safely on local and regional routes.
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, hours-of-service rules, and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers regarding schedules and delivery status.
  • Secure and handle freight properly to prevent damage and ensure load integrity.
  • Meet on-time pickup and delivery requirements while managing routes efficiently.

  • Follow company and customer site protocols, including PPE and yard safety rules.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance reviews as required.
