Woodwinds or Percussion Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a Woodwinds or Percussion Teacher to provide private and small-group lessons in our retail lesson studio. You will teach students of all ages and levels, focusing on strong fundamentals, ensemble readiness, and school music support. Responsibilities include creating tailored lesson plans, tracking progress, and preparing students for concerts and auditions. You'll collaborate with store staff to schedule lessons, support rentals and accessories, and promote programs. Responsibilities

• Provide engaging private and small-group woodwind or percussion lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and learning goals aligned with student interests and school programs
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and prepare students for concerts, auditions, and school performances
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about goals, progress, and practice expectations
• Collaborate with store staff to schedule lessons, manage studio availability, and support registration and renewals
• Promote Music & Arts programs, rentals, and accessories that support student learning and performance
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating lesson environment that reflects Music & Arts' student-focused culture
• Accurately track attendance, progress notes, and basic administrative details for each student
