Guitar or Brass Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a Guitar or Brass Teacher to deliver engaging private lessons in our Rockville, MD retail store. In this role, you will teach beginner to intermediate students of all ages, develop individualized lesson plans, and guide students toward performance and personal goals. You will communicate regularly with parents, support recitals and in store events, and help students select appropriate instruments and accessories. Responsibilities

• Provide high quality private guitar or brass lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create individualized lesson plans and track student progress toward musical goals
• Prepare students for recitals, school performances, and auditions
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about progress and practice expectations
• Support a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment in the lesson studio
• Collaborate with store staff to schedule lessons and support student retention
• Encourage students to participate in store events, recitals, and educational programs
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and learning materials to students and families
