CDL A Yard Driver

TransForce Inc. seeks a reliable CDL A Yard Driver to support safe, efficient trailer movement for our transportation and warehousing clients. In this on-site role, you will operate a yard truck to spot and reposition trailers between yard, staging areas, and dock doors, performing thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining clear move logs. You'll coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to meet tight dock schedules, follow all DOT and site safety rules, and promptly report equipment issues. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A yard truck to safely move trailers within yard and between docks
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate move logs
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse, and dock personnel to support loading schedules
• Position trailers at doors for loading/unloading and secure equipment as required
• Follow all DOT, company, and site safety policies and procedures
• Report equipment issues, damage, or hazards promptly for repair
• Support efficient yard flow, routing, and staging to minimize downtime
• Assist with basic yard checks, trailer inventory, and documentation
