Local CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer or other large vehicle to transport goods locally.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight as per client specifications, adhering to all safety and legal standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper working condition and report any maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service status in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to manage schedules and routes efficiently.
• Handle documentation related to cargo, delivery notes, and customer communications professionally.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
