Local CDL A Flatbed Driver/Yard Hostler

TransForce Inc. seeks a Local CDL A Flatbed Driver/Yard Hostler to support safe, reliable transportation operations. In this on-site role, you will perform local flatbed deliveries and pickups while handling yard hostling duties, including moving trailers between docks, yards, and staging areas. Responsibilities include proper load securement, pre- and post-trip inspections, and strict adherence to FMCSA/DOT rules. You will use ELDs and follow company procedures while contributing to a professional, safety-focused, and service-oriented culture that supports key transportation and warehousing customers nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A flatbed trucks for local pickups and deliveries.
• Perform yard hostler duties, moving trailers safely within yards and docks.
• Secure flatbed loads using chains, straps, and tarps per safety standards.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA/DOT regulations and company policies.
• Use ELDs and required documentation to record hours and deliveries accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse, and customers in a professional manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and support a safety-focused work environment.
