Local CDL-A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor trailer on local pickup and delivery routes
• Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections per DOT and company standards
• Safely load, unload, and secure freight to prevent damage and ensure compliance
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate logs, trip reports, and required delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers
• Adhere to assigned schedules and delivery windows for on time service
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly to dispatch
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at every stop
• Support a safety first culture and participate in ongoing training as required
