Local CDL A Route Driver

TransForce, a leader in CDL staffing and compliance, is seeking a dependable Local CDL A Route Driver to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who prioritize safety and efficiency in commercial driving. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations within specific routes. You will contribute to TransForce's commitment to maintaining outstanding transportation solutions by adhering to all regulatory and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck on assigned routes to deliver goods to various locations.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle as per the daily schedule.
• Complete route logs and report any discrepancies or issues to the management.
• Adhere to company operational procedures and DOT regulations regarding hours of service, rest periods, vehicle maintenance, and safety.
• Utilize equipment to track and manage delivery routes efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch/management regarding delays, unforeseen issues, or any necessary adjustments to work assignments.
